Haringey Health and Wellbeing Thematic Forum

Are you a voluntary or community organisation providing health and wellbeing support and services in Haringey?

If so, you are very welcome to take part in the first Health and Wellbeing Thematic Forum of the Haringey VSF. The event will explore how voluntary and community groups can work together and in partnership with Haringey Council and other key stakeholders on key priorities for health and wellbeing.

Attendees will be briefed by key Council staff, including Beverley Tarka, Director of Adults and Social Care, on the Council’s vision, key priorities and the role of the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in Adults and Social Care.

You will also hear from Dr Will Maimaris, Consultant in Public Health, Haringey Council, about the key priorities and the role of the VCS in delivering public health. Marco Inzani, Head of Integrated Commissioning, Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group, will speak about emerging CCG changes and priorities and how the CCG and VCS can work together in Haringey.

There will be an opportunity for groups to share updates and network with other organisations.

Time:   10.30am to 12.30pm, Wednesday 5 October 2016 (arrivals 10.00am to 10.30am)
