The third annual Haringey Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Expo, organised by The Bridge Renewal Trust and Haringey Council, will take place on Thursday 29 November 2018 at the Tottenham Town Hall, N15 4RY, from 11am to 4pm. The Expo is an occasion to showcase and celebrate the important work of Haringey’s diverse voluntary and community groups, to engage on pertinent local issues, and to bring together Haringey officials, residents and volunteers.
More than 40 local charities and community groups will exhibit their work throughout the day, alongside a number of engaging workshops and discussions. There will also be the opportunity to take part in two panel discussions on ‘Serious Youth Violence’ and ‘Arts and Culture in Haringey’.
Places for each of the panels can be booked here:
The event will end with the Haringey Community Impact Awards 2018 ceremony, which will reward the outstanding individuals and community organisations that have improved the lives of Haringey residents.
Last year, the Haringey Voluntary and Community Sector Expo was a great success, with more than 600 people attending. The visitors enjoyed a jam-packed programme of activities ranging from exhibitions and displays to performances and panel discussions.
All Haringey residents, members of the Voluntary and Community Sector and partners are warmly invited to attend what promises to be an engaging and exciting day.
