Do you have experience of managing a service including business planning and partnership working? Do you have a demonstrable track record of successfully tendering for contracts and/or grants?
The Bridge Renewal Trust has a contract as Haringey Council’s official ‘Strategic Partner’ to ensure the local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) is stronger, able to attract more external funding and best placed to support communities and meet the needs of all residents. We are currently recruiting a Voluntary Sector Development Manager to work with Haringey Council to build the infrastructure capacity of new and existing VCS organisations to deliver against their core objectives. This includes managing the service and supporting the organisations to shift service models and/or adopt new methods of fundraising and applying sustainable funding strategies.
We are looking for someone who is: able to design and deliver capacity building support and training for VCS organisations, skilled leader and able to manage relationships and motivate others, knowledge of the development and financial needs of the VCS; knowledge of diverse methods of fundraising and income generation; and conversant with a wide range of communications tools to engage all stakeholders.
