The Mayor of Haringey is holding a community event in Lordship Recreation Ground to support his two chosen charities: Mind in Haringey and Studio 306 Collective.
The event will include music, children’s activities and prizes, and will involve an attempt at setting the UK record for largest amount of people taking part in a laughter yoga session in which everyone is invited to participate. The Mayor will also be presenting the winners of his ‘What makes you happy?’ art competition for Haringey school children.
We are looking for voluntary and community organisations who would be interested in having a stall at the event – this is a great opportunity to engage with young people, parents and teachers about the work of your organisation, as well as highlighting any work you are doing around mental health and/or wellbeing.
Community stalls will be based near the Shell Theatre on Lordship Recreation Ground, with the option of moving inside Broadwater Farm Community Centre in the case of wet weather.
Set up will be from 12pm with the event opening at 12.30pm to the public.
