Are you passionate about addressing the causes of food poverty? Do you have experience of effective partnership working with different partners or organisations?

Haringey is about people and community. Our Haringey Together response to Covid-19 was an example of what we can achieve when we support each other.  We want to continue to work together to respond to the impact of Covid-19 and address long standing challenges in our borough. The Haringey Food Network is one way in which we are coming together to tackle this. We are currently recruiting a Food Network Co-ordinator to develop and maintain a Haringey Food Network comprised of neighbourhood-based food banks, community organisations, food producers and others. You will work in close partnership with Haringey Council to deliver our response to food poverty in the borough, liaising with local food hubs to redistribute food and to ensure that Haringey’s most vulnerable people receive food and essential items. You will be supported by a volunteer co-ordinator and a team of volunteers.

We are looking for someone who understands Haringey and our communities and can build and maintain strong working relationships, including between partners, to achieve excellent joint outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive organisation where we value and reward the performance of our staff.

To apply, please email your CV with contact details of two referees, a supporting statement demonstrating how you meet the requirements set out in the Person Specification and completed equal opportunities monitoring form to [email protected].
