Bridge to Work

The course supported the employability chances of Haringey residents who had not been in work for at least 2 years and had barriers such as long term health conditions. Through innovative approaches, the course enabled learners to:

  • develop self-esteem, confidence and motivation for employment
  • develop and enhance employability skills required to compete effectively in the employment market

The programme enhanced and developed skills for learners: confidence, CV writing, job search and interview skills and work experience. This improved learners’ competitiveness and enabled them to make progress towards employment.
