Alexandra Palace’s new theatre is due to open in December 2018 and volunteer theatre assistants will be supporting the theatre shows by carrying out a variety of tasks including welcoming visitors and showing people to their seats. Full training will be provided in the lead up to the opening and volunteers will have the opportunity to watch the shows on the day that they are volunteering.
They are hoping to recruit a large and diverse group of volunteers who are looking to connect with friendly and like-minded people and expand their skills.
The theatre’s first performance is set for 3 December 2018, and the line-up of shows looks very interesting and should appeal to a variety of people.
If volunteers form any part of your organisation, Volunteer Centre Haringey can help you in a number of ways and through a range of services. These primarily focus on helping you develop and improve volunteer recruitment, management and reward & recognition practices.
Throughout the year we provide a number of opportunities to learn, network, share good practice and recruit volunteers. For more information on any of our services for organisations, please get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org / 020 8815 3930.
We are working closely with Haringey Council to encourage volunteer involving organisations to embed safeguarding learning to both their staff and volunteers.
