NLPC work to improve the socio-economic welfare for members of deprived communities. NLPC help those who are unemployed get back into work, support the third sector to deliver quality services, undertaking community needs consultations and research and providing creative management solutions to employers across the private, public and third sector.

Railway Track Engineering - NLPC provide an opportunity for young people to get involved into railway engineering as track operatives on the London Underground. Participants will get a conditional offer of paid work after successfully completing training.

Haringey Youth Advisory Board (YAB) - This is a group of approximately 20 young people who meet to discuss issues around youth violence which affect their community. They earn a London Living Wage for their work with community organisations and statutory services. The YAB provide feedback about local services and collaborate to improve them.

Outreach Youth Workers - Outreach Workers enable the recruitment, engagement and participation of young people on the programme, including referrals to membership of the Youth Advisory Board and diverse initiatives being delivered by Home Cooked partners.
