What is it? 

It is a project that is funded by the Big Lottery Community Fund, that aims to help people living in and around the Tiverton estate to get more active and healthier by providing opportunities for people to play sport and take part in fun fitness class and help for families who want support to make healthy lifestyle changes.  

We hope that by providing these opportunities and support we can empower people to better manage and improve their health and wellbeing.  

 

Who is it for? Health at the Hut volunteers serving healthy food in the community cafe

We provide sports activities, fitness classes and healthy cooking workshops for families and people of all ages (kids, teens, adults and older adults).

How can it help you? 

The classes, activities and workshops are ideal for people who want to get more active, meet new people, learn new skills and feel healthier.

All of our sessions, classes and workshops are free.

Can I volunteer? Health at the Hut volunteers and staff team at the Tiverton Community Day June 2019

Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, refresh old ones, meet new people and give back to the community. We have lots of volunteering opportunities and roles available, some require regular commitment while others can be more flexible. At the moment we work with a group of amazing volunteers, but we are always looking for extra people who wish to lend a helping hand!
