The Bridge Community HutWelcome to the Bridge Community Hut This two storey, accessible community centre is set in its own grounds with a community garden, kitchen, two large rooms, toilet, Wi-Fi and office. The Community hut is situated in Tewkesbury Road, N15 6SE, just off of the Seven Sisters Road. The Community Hut offers a wide range of activities from group gardening sessions, healthy cooking and eating, Saturday cafe, social events, language classes and a wide range of other activities. Come and join in the fun We're looking for new volunteers to join our friendly Community Café team at the Bridge Community Hut, Tewksbury Road, N15 6SE and help create a welcoming space where local residents can enjoy good food, build connections, and access community activities. The Community Café takes place 3 days per week (including Saturdays), 10:00am – 4:00pm at the Bridge Community Hut on the Tiverton Estate. The role is flexible and can fit around your schedule. What you'll do Help prepare and serve simple, nutritious meals and refreshments. Welcome and support café visitors. Provide friendly customer service. Help set up and tidy the café before and after sessions. Support community activities and events. Help promote the café through community outreach, distributing flyers, and encouraging local residents to attend. Represent The Bridge Renewal Trust's values and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment. We're looking for people who are Friendly, positive, and reliable people who enjoy meeting and supporting people from different backgrounds. Interested in food, community activities, or helping others. Able to work as part of a team. Willing to learn new skills and take on different tasks. No previous experience required – training and support will be provided including Safe Guarding, Anti-racist and trauma informed practice.
