Home Cooked is funded by the Mayor of London's Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) to develop a locally led partnership focused on increasing safety and improving outcomes for young people in the Northumberland Park ward area. The initiative empowers local organisations and residents to co-design and deliver hyperlocal solutions that support young people and build safer communities.

Join the Home Cooked Grant Panel

Central to Home Cooked’s mission is ensuring residents and young people are at the heart of delivery. Following the successful delivery of Round Two, the MyEnds programme has secured additional funding for a third round of the Home Cooked Northumberland Park Community Fund.

We are now looking for passionate residents and young people to join the independent Grant Panel, helping decide how funding is awarded to grassroots organisations across Northumberland Park.

We particularly encourage applications from:

  • Young people, especially those with lived experience of youth violence
  • Parents and carers
  • Residents passionate about supporting local and youth-focused projects
“The whole experience was extremely positive, and I really enjoyed working alongside a panel with a diverse range of ages, experiences, and backgrounds. I also gained valuable new knowledge and best practices that I will take forward with me.”
