The Haringey Community Expo 2023 brought together Haringey’s residents and voluntary sector organisations on Friday 1 December 2023 in a day filled with excitement at the Tottenham Green Pools & Fitness Centre. More than 250 people joined the event to foster connections and discover the wealth of services available within the local community.

The Haringey Community Expo, organised by the Bridge Renewal Trust in partnership with Haringey Council, acknowledges and celebrates the impact of the local Voluntary and Community Sector. From the bustling stalls, where participants explored over 70 local projects and services, to the thought-provoking Panel Discussion on Culture & Creativity – every moment was filled with opportunities for connection and collaboration.

The panel was a great opportunity to gain insights from community members, including:

  • Jess Crowe - Director of Culture, Strategy & Engagement at Haringey Council
  • Keneth Olumuyiwa Tharp - Joint Assistant Director of Culture and Creativity at Haringey Council
  • Hannah Cox – Chief Executive at Jacksons Lane
  • Andrew Reed - Chief Executive at Black Arts Production

Haringey Council’s Director of Culture, Strategy & Engagement, Jess Crowe, said: “The passion and dedication showcased by the voluntary sector organisations at this event is fantastic. I am delighted to be here and would like to thank all Haringey’s voluntary and community groups for everything they do to make a positive difference in the lives of Haringey residents”.

Community Impact Awards Ceremony Highlights:
