We're delighted to announce that applications are now open for the third round of the Home Cooked Community Fund. We welcome applications from both new and established community groups and organisations whose work supports young people and helps strengthen the Northumberland Park community. Community groups and organisations can apply for grants of up to £10,000 to deliver projects that support young people and strengthen the Northumberland Park community.

We welcome applications from a wide range of local organisations, including (but not limited to):

  • Community and grassroots organisations
  • Registered charities and not-for-profit organisations
  • Faith-based organisations
  • Schools, colleges, and other educational providers
  • After-school clubs and youth organisation

The Home Cooked Community Fund is open to voluntary and community organisations based in Northumberland Park and Haringey. Priority will be given to organisations that:

Are based in or primarily support residents of Northumberland Park.

Support projects that empower girls and address gender-specific risks and vulnerabilities.

Deliver passion-led projects that engage and support young people through positive activities.

Actively engage diverse communities and promote inclusion and accessibility for people from all backgrounds.

Support people aged 18 and over, with a particular focus on young adults and responding to their needs.

  • Review the Funding Criteria to ensure your project is eligible.
  • Complete the Application Form.
  • Submit your completed application by Friday 31 July 2026 before 5pm deadline.

To help you prepare a strong application, we're hosting a series of online information and guidance sessions for organisations interested in applying to the community fund. During each session, we'll cover:
  • The application and assessment process.
  • Practical guidance and tips for completing a strong application.
  • A live Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions about the fund and the application process.

An independent panel of trained local residents, parents, and young people will review every application. Together, they will assess each proposal and agree which projects should be awarded funding.
